It’s the title of the book I’ve finished reading on may 7th.
Though I was also tickled by Antologi Rasa, author: Ika Natassa, so I was,
essentially, reading two books. And since antologi rasa turned out to be really
great, I decided to finish LDHeart sooner and quicker, because it was just a
few pages left.
And LDHeart was greatly.
Greatly disturbing.
Greatly disturbing my feeling of missing my dear amori at
home.
D. A. M. N.
The writer –the admin of @LongDistance_R- is probably one of
the few people that got hated and loved by his followers. The other one that I
only know being the director and staffs behind Marvel’s recent movie-chain
–Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, Captain America, Thor-. They’re
both like an acupuncture needle right in the zit. Never tried such thing, but I
think it will sting a whole damn lot.
The most notable story that fully struck my mind and heart
was the 14th story (man if it’s the 13th, I’d be soooo
creeped out), LDR dan Backstreet, written
by Rizka Herlina Darmopoli. It’s a story told from the girl’s perspective. She dated
her guy in secret, behind his parents’ backs. Her guy has told her to be honest
with her parents, but she was scared. Then, one day, her guy comes to her home,
with a bouquet of roses, only to be welcomed by her mother.
-Which is, I think, (from personal on-going experience), is
the worst agent you could ever encounter had you been in the matrix (as I’m
writing this on a half-windowed Ms. Word, another half-windowed Windows Media
Player is playing the film The Matrix)-
Other than that, the stories were inspiring. Some LDRs span
years, and most of them ended up in marriage. And in this book I also found the
great question that me and her are still working the answer on.
“Buat apa buang-buang waktu aku nungguin kamu, kamu nungguin
aku, tapi kita nggak tau hubungan ini mau dibawa ke mana”.
I found it in the very first opening story, Distance is A Gift, the Gift is You,
written by A.N.K. for now, we can only wait and hope, for the inspirations
descending from Allah SWT, to give us the guidance of the ending of this story
of ours.
There are few stories that disgust me. Not because of the
story, but because of the person who hurts the writer of the story. They can
just go favete linguis if they’ll try
to explain it.
In conclusion, it’s a really great book. For y’all
distancers and non-distancers, I recommend it, because for distancers, it’s a
motivation to hold on to something we put a lot of faith in. For non-distancers,
it’s a lesson to appreciate the distancers. Because if they can’t, just FAVETE LINGUIS!!!
