Favete Linguis

it's latin. literally, it means "Facilitate [the ritual acts] with your tongues". Retrieved it from wikipedia and saw it first in the novel Antologi Rasa by Ika Natassa.
The phrase, as i read in wikipedia, means to "hold your tongue", or "Facilitate the ritual acts by being silent". ALSO i read in wikepdia, this phrase was used and said out loud by a herald (announcer, simply put) to order the others in an official ritual to be silent. It's done to avoid any interruption from otherwise a careless, maybe ominous, word.

Personally, after reading the official translation, i prefer my own made-up term. though it's already been around for some time now.
From my understanding, "Favete Linguis!" is just a polite, intellectual way of saying "Shut The Fuck Up!". and it's really handy for me, who's surrounded by trash and garbage in the form of voices of people proclaiming themselves as "my friend".
